About Us

Niall Fox graduated from Queens University, Belfast in 2002 after studying Law with Politics. He subsequently qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in 2006 achieving a distinction in the post graduate Solicitors course at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queens University, Belfast. He has worked in law firms across several jurisdictions gaining a diverse range of experience in all areas of legal practice to include criminal defence, personal injury, medical negligence, defamation, divorce and family disputes.

In 2019, Niall Fox started his own business concentrating exclusively on contentious areas of work. He has carved out a strong criminal defence practice appearing daily before courts across Cavan, Monaghan and beyond in the District, Circuit and Central Criminal court. Niall enjoys representing Defendants at court who are facing prosecution for all types of offences to include road traffic, theft, drugs, sexual offences, serious assaults and extradition. He has also focused his attention on building a huge amount of experience in personal injury cases arising out of road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, public liability and catastrophic injury claims as well as family and matrimonial disputes across District, Circuit and High Court jurisdictions.

Niall is eligible to practice law in three jurisdictions and is a registered solicitor with the Law Society of Northern Ireland, Law Society of England & Wales and Law Society of the Republic of Ireland. Niall is very keen on education and has in the past tutored trainee solicitors and barristers at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Belfast as well as lecturing to management accountants on the fundamentals of business law and finance at The Richard Clarke Academy in Belfast. He has himself undertaken a Diploma in Criminal Law and Practice from the Law Society of Ireland in 2020.

Niall has a passion for law and strongly believes that all persons, no matter their financial means, have a right to access to justice. Niall has been a proactive volunteer at the FLAC-Free Legal Advice Clinics held in Cavan Citizens Information Centre once a month. He is a member of the Board of Management of two local schools.
